• • • PROGRESS(LAST REPORT • Monday SEPTEMBER 16, 2007 from Carson City NV)

D5 is in Early Child Ed Pre-school with Speech Therapy Mon-Thur 8:30-11:45
He rides the bus an entire three blocks each way, unless it is one of "his days" where he earns himself OFF the bus. Last time was for takin a swing at the lady who buckles the kids in. Bam! He was airborne and in the house, shakin his head, wonderin how he got there! Magic. We practice Zero tolerance for disrespect. And immediate consequences. The only way this doesn't turn the little man into a pschopath is that he gets massive amounts of hugs, snuggle time and reassurance that he is loved. And he is! He responds fairly well to the boundries in this setting, in spite of the muttering under his breath. We need to "film" some of this. He is quite the character. No surprise, as I survey the branches on his familial foliage. I must confess, I do enjoy being able to say "not from my gene pool."
All kidding aside, he is an interesting, engaged, articulate for his skill level, very schmaht person. And a delight, most of the time, to be around. Dangerously cute. Keenly observant. And genetically strong willed.
I am grateful for the blessing of being his teacher and guide at this stage of his developement.
You Texans must be wringing your hands about him being in the hands of a Yankee and professional clown. Oy!
"Jersey and Texas - both incurable diseases".
